Me photographing lions in South Africa
My name is Luke. I am 14 years old. I am a volunteer at lots of the Date With Nature's for the RSPB and my main hobby is taking pictures of wildlife, particularly birds. I have been to many great birdwatching places in the UK including the North Norfolk coast, in particular Cley Marshes. One of my greatest birdwatching moments in Norfolk was seeing thousands of Knot and other waders flying overhead at Snettisham RSPB at the Wash. I have also been to: Kenya (2007), Namibia (2009), (Spain 2011) and South Africa (2012) which were fantastic places to see wildlife. My photos have been used by many recognized company's including: The RSPB, The WWT, The West Sussex Gazette, The Chichester Observer, Worthing Rugby Club, Warnham Local Nature Reserve, Rare Bird Alert and a few others. I am also part of the gallery team on a world leading 'serious' photo sharing website with over 960,000 photographers on the site - www.ephotozine.com. I am also training as a bird ringer.
I photograph all my birds and animals in the wild, in their natural environment. Some photographers will cut branches from nearby trees and bolt them to a small table. They'll then put food at the bottom of the branches and sit back, behind a blind, with a long lens, and wait. To me, that may be bird photography, but it isn't wildlife photography...

All photographs that appear on this site are copyright protected and are reproduced with watermarks (LDW) for web publication. However, if you are interested, the original photographs make good prints. All of my pictures are available from A6 to A0 and above. I have a huge library of pictures, of which, only a small percentage can be seen on the site. Therefore, if you need a picture of a particular subject or you do not see what you need on this website, I may just have it! Please do not hesitate to contact me, I would be very happy to help.
